Sweet potato slips are here, and ready to plant! We can deliver to your local farmers market (Brasstown, Clay County, Andrews, or Murphy), or you can pick up at the Local Food Hub at 911 Main St. in Andrews. Food Hub hours are 11am - 6pm, Tuesday - Saturday.
We have 4 varieties of organic sweet potato slips, from Chatham Farm Supply, in Pittsboro, NC:
Covington (orange flesh), NC-122 (orange flesh), Scarlet (purple flesh and skin) and Murasaki (white flesh, red skin). Find a little info about each variety here: Farm Supply Catalog.
You can purchase a bundle of 30+ slips for $8, a ½ bundle for $5, or an individual slip for $1.
